Meet The Team

PRINCIPAL

Jacinta O'Connell

Jacinta has nearly three decades of professional and commercial accounting experience in the music industry – dating back very early in her career when she worked with Aussie rock legends The Angels, The Choirboys, Angry Anderson, Ratcat and Powderfinger.

Apart from being one of Australia’s leading music industry tax experts, Jacinta is also a strategist and business growth development specialist with a wealth of expertise in music, media and entertainment. Jacinta’s approach is to work collaboratively with her clients as an accountant, a taxation expert, a business manager, or simply as a peer and mentor.

Jacinta is well aware that it’s not an easy gig earning a living as a full-time musician – her priority is to provide clients with both a caring and first-rate service, going above and beyond to ‘ease the way’ as much as possible.

With current clients including Gang of Youths, Peking Duk, PNAU, Josh Pyke and Matt Corby, Jacinta balances her accounting brain and her love of music with a busy family life. She also combines her love of dogs while giving back to the community with an active volunteer role in Australian Working Dog Rescue.

Senior Accountant/Tax Consultant

Therese Turnbull

Therese has been with the team for 10 years and is a whizz when it comes to working with corporate entities, specialist business operations and tax structures. Therese is Jacinta’s right hand and she makes even the most complex of tasks look easy.

When Therese is not crunching the numbers, she juggles two kids, a husband and three happy hounds. And when she does get a rare bit of free time she enjoys having a few laughs with family and friends, and swimming laps at the pool.

Accountant

Kent O'Connell

When Kent is not fighting fires (in his other job as a NSW ‘firey’), he spends time in the office helping out with general accounting and keeping the paperwork ticking over.

Kent is a bit of an all-rounder – he loves to renovate, garden, he’s a whizz on the BBQ and can whip up a mean batch of spag bol. He loves the music of the late great David Bowie as well as many of our clients, so we know he has great taste in music too. Jacinta reckons Kent is pretty close to the #theperfecthusband. We are inclined to agree.

Administrative Assistant

Tozca Ynzon

Meet Tozca, our enthusiastic Administrative Assistant. Her role in our team is exceptional; she ensures smooth day-to-day operations and keeps everything organised. She takes pride in her time management and organisational skills, as she keeps track of important documents. For her, being an administrative assistant is all about juggling multiple responsibilities and making sure everything runs seamlessly, which she finds both challenging and rewarding.

When she is not at work, you will find her engaging in different activities such as having quality time with her adorable pug dogs, creating silly TikTok videos, practicing yoga, cooking, traveling on adventures, and watching movies and documentaries as these hobbies bring out the best in her.

Bookkeeper

Jezrel May Sarvida

Jezrel or also known as "May" is our stellar bookkeeper extraordinaire. With two years of hands-on experience, May brings a fusion of skills to our team that's bound to impress. She's not just about crunching numbers—Jezrel's got the leadership flair to steer the ship, an eagle eye for detail that catches every penny, and audit skills that'll make your head spin (in a good way, of course!).

But hey, when she's not balancing the books, you can find her exploring the city's best cafes, hunting down that perfect cup of coffee or matcha. And when it's Netflix o'clock, Jezrel transforms into a binge-watching connoisseur, diving deep into Korean dramas and jamming out to the latest tunes from K-pop sensation 'Treasure.'

Bookkeeper

Janille Epan

Janille, is our exceptional Bookkeeper extraordinaire! Her three years in the field brings a keen eye for detail, remarkable multitasking abilities and adaptability to the team. When she's not unraveling financial mysteries and ensuring our financial records are in perfect order, she is a passionate literary collector and a dedicated listener of podcasts and TED Talks.

Also dearly known as “Ja”, she expresses her creativity through singing and dancing since she's an unapologetic Swiftie. Ja is an active member of the CFC-Singles for Christ and manages the chapter's database and serves as a caring Household Head. Ja is an ace asset to our team so keep an eye out for her impeccable work, and rest assured that your financial matters are in capable hands.

Social Media Manager

Eduardo Jose Dublin

Meet Eduardo, our brilliant Administrative Assistant with a knack for content creation and social media mastery! Eduardo is a master of multitasking and a problem-solving champ! When he's not ensuring the smooth operation of our office, Eduardo indulges in his passion for movies, TV shows, and the art of a good night's sleep.

But don't let his laid-back hobbies fool you—Eduardo is also a problem-solving whiz. Whether it's resolving an administrative issue or finding innovative solutions for challenges that arise, he tackles them with a sharp mind and a can-do attitude. His ripper ability to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and composed demeanor is truly impressive. So, when you need a helping hand, look no further, Eduardo's here to keep the office spirits high and ensure that everything runs like clockwork.

Communications Manager

Kimberly Kumagai

Meet Kimberly, our fresh new addition to the team as our Communications Manager! Kimberly, or as her family and friends like to call her "Kim" or "Kimmy", brings with her a knack for storytelling that began way back in her teen years when she would stir up short, creative stories that sparked her passion for writing.

Whether she's behind the lens capturing stunning moments through photography and videography, or out in the wild exploring new horizons through road trips, beach outings, river treks, or hikes, she's always up for an exciting escapade. Kimberly's passion for both words and wanderlust is sure to add an exciting spark to our team dynamic.
